The Tech Shots publishes news and current affairs content, and follows the Code of Ethics for digital news publishers under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. If you believe something we published breaches that code, you can raise a grievance with us.

How to raise a grievance

Use the form on this page and choose "Grievance about published content". Include:

  • the link to the article,
  • what you believe is wrong, and why,
  • how we can contact you.

For a simple factual error, a correction request is usually quicker; see our corrections policy.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge your grievance within 24 hours.
  • Our grievance officer looks into it, and we tell you our decision and the reasons within 15 days.
  • If we agree something was wrong, we correct, clarify or update the article and record that publicly at the end of it.

If you are not satisfied

If you are not satisfied with our decision, or do not hear from us within 15 days, you can take your grievance further under the self-regulation and oversight mechanism set out in Part III of the IT Rules, 2021.
